- Rupert can draw expressive caricatures within 60 seconds.
- he made an “unpleasant” caricature of Alan Rickman on set – which Alan liked so much that he kept it.
Cars
- Rupert bought a Quad Bike
- he also owns a Go-Kart, and does a bit of karting himself
- he bought himself a black Mini Cooper as his first car, because his dad recommended a sensible car. Rupert said the Mini “suits him”, Emma Watson described it as “really cool.”
- he is also known to own an orange/gold Land Rover and a golf buggy.

- he is a proud owner of a hovercraft and was given night-sight goggles by HP producer David Barron.

Dancing
- Rupert got to skip the dancing scenes for Goblet of Fire as Ron was not supposed to know how to dance
- Maggie Smith: “I had to try to teach Rupert to dance the other day. That was pretty strenuous.”
Rupert: We had to waltz around in front of everyone. It was a bit embarrassing, but it was quite funny.”
David Barron: “So there, it’s actually – The look on his face is just marvelous. Just really great.”
James Phelps: “When we came on the set Rupert just looked at us and said: ‘Don’t say anything. Just don’t say anything.’ So, of course, we had to say something to him.”(Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire DVD) - he had Salsa lessons for Driving Lessons but said he does not dance well in spite of that because it was supposed to look awkward anyway. “Bryony takes me to a salsa club and we have to do all this salsa dancing and, I’m not really a dancing sort of person, and we had one day training and, eh, that was, it was quite a good experience really, cause I’ve never done anything like that before but, ehm, it was just lucky cause I wasn’t meant to be that good anyway, so it sort of worked quite well, now, it was really good fun.“

Film&TV
- Rupert likes to watch movies, especially comedies.
- he has been seen watching local pantomimes and plays.
- he was spotted watching the play “Wicked” in London.
- he likes to watch “Big Brother” on TV.
- he is really into documentaries – “weird and wonderful ones.”
- his favorite movie is Eraserhead, a surrealist-horror film written and directed by David Lynch, and released in 1977.
Gadgets
- Rupert likes gadgets – iPod Nano, cellphone, golf ball finder, etc.
- he said that he is famous for losing things – especially his cell phone.
- he used to build model airplanes.
Golf
- Rupert is an avid golfer.
- his golf handicap (currently) is 15, which he gained after only around 2 years of playing.
- he plays golf because he likes it and because his grandfather, dad and mates play, as well as some of the cast and crew of Harry Potter.
- he says that golf is a good way of “chilling out.”
- he has participated in several Charity Golf events
IceCreamVan
- Rupert considers his ice-cream van as the coolest thing he bought.
- he enthusiastically describes his Ice-cream truck as semi-stocked, having a big freezer in the back and a soft ice cream “whippy” machine.
- he bought stuff on eBay for his ice cream van, including light-up ice cream cones.
- his van’s jingle is “Three Blind Mice” and it is decked out with telletubby stickers!
Music
- Rupert has a didgeridoo and “can make a noise on it.”
- he revealed that he really cannot play guitar except for maybe two songs.
- he played “Seven Nation Army” by the White Stripes at his 18th birthday party according to The Somethings.
- he likes all kinds of music, mostly listens to rock (his favorite is classic rock and roll) and liked rap when he was younger.
- his dad is a Queen fan, his mum was into 70s punk, and his littlest sister was in a “goth phase.”
- he went to the George Benson Jazz concert while he was in Portugal (attended with his dad, who is a Benson fan too).
- he likes Salsa Celtica now that’s he has heard them.
- he was seen at a Shakira concert with Emma Watson when they were younger (during CoS era).
- he attended a Zootopia concert in New York (during the PoA promo) in 2004.
- he went to a Foo Fighters concert with James and Oliver Phelps.
- he met Slash backstage at a Velvet Revolvers concert.
- he went to the NME awards with James and Oliver Phelps in 2006 and 2007.
- revealed in a recent interview that he now owns a Banjo.
- he has been to various music festivals in recent years: Reading, V and Wireless in 2010, often accompanied by his co-stars.

Pets
- Rupert has two labradors, Ruby and Fudge
- his family also owns a dog called Sergeant Montgomery, and another dog called Ron
- he owns a ginger cat and two tortoises
- he has two rats, who played Scabbers in Prisoner of Azkaban, one of them called Mosh Pit
- he bought two micro pigs called Stanley and Oscar. Oscar died in 2010.

Sports
- Rupert says he is competitive.
- he is also known to be good at bowling, pool (billiards) and table tennis.
- he likes football (soccer) – and cheers for the Tottenham Hotspurs.
- he likes swimming and enjoyed the diving lessons given for the 4th Harry Potter movie (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire) but says he is not a strong swimmer.
